Samanta and Plas Newydd. Looking forward to getting her teeth into environmental engineering challenges…we have a few!
Today was the first day for the latest in a long line of volunteers/ interns with the environmental team here in Wales. But this one has come a teensy weensy little bit further. Samanta Bedow has joined us from Brasil. She is taking part in a year-long project called Science without Borders. She has been in Bangor University since last September and is now with Paul and I for the last of her three months. She has an engineering background and has studied environmental science in Bangor for the last academic year. I will let her say a bit more of her experiences and comparisons later on. Couple of openers. Not keen on Football and had to go into the mountains of Snowdonia this winter to see her first snow!
